Attachment Style Test (ECR-S)
Two results: your attachment anxiety and avoidance.
Over deze test
Adult attachment describes how you relate to closeness in romantic relationships. It is captured by two dimensions. Attachment anxiety is worry about being abandoned or not loved enough. Attachment avoidance is discomfort with closeness and depending on a partner. Low on both usually means a secure style; high anxiety points to a preoccupied style; high avoidance to a dismissing style; high on both to a fearful style. You get a separate score for each.

Veelgestelde vragen
How do the two scores combine?
Low anxiety and low avoidance is a secure style. High anxiety with low avoidance is preoccupied; low anxiety with high avoidance is dismissing; high on both is fearful. Most people are somewhere in between.
Can attachment style change?
Yes. Attachment tends to be fairly stable but can shift over time with new relationships, reflection and, if needed, therapy.
