Self-Monitoring Scale (Snyder)
How much you adjust your behaviour to fit the social situation.
Over deze test
Self-monitoring is how much you watch and adjust the way you present yourself to fit each social situation. High self-monitors read the room and shape their behaviour to suit it; low self-monitors act more from their own inner feelings and stay more consistent across situations. Neither is better — each has strengths.
Wat jouw score betekent
| Score | Interpretatie |
|---|---|
| 0–6 | Lower self-monitoring |
| 7–12 | Moderate self-monitoring |
| 13–18 | Higher self-monitoring |

Is this a personality disorder test?
No. Self-monitoring is a normal personality trait, not a disorder. It simply describes a social style.
