Self-Monitoring Scale (Snyder)
How much you adjust your behaviour to fit the social situation.
Über diesen Test
Self-monitoring is how much you watch and adjust the way you present yourself to fit each social situation. High self-monitors read the room and shape their behaviour to suit it; low self-monitors act more from their own inner feelings and stay more consistent across situations. Neither is better — each has strengths.

Is high or low self-monitoring better?
Neither. High self-monitors adapt well socially; low self-monitors are consistent and act from their values. Each has advantages in different settings.
Is this a personality disorder test?
No. Self-monitoring is a normal personality trait, not a disorder. It simply describes a social style.
