Pre-Sleep Arousal Scale (PSAS)
Two results: how much your mind and body race at bedtime.
Over deze test
When you can't fall asleep, it is often because you are still 'switched on'. The PSAS measures this pre-sleep arousal in two ways. Cognitive arousal is a busy mind — worries and thoughts that won't stop. Somatic arousal is a tense body — racing heart, muscle tension, an upset stomach. You get a separate score for each, which can hint at what keeps you awake.

Veelgestelde vragen
Why two scores?
Trouble sleeping can come from a racing mind, a tense body, or both. Splitting the score helps show which one is more of an issue for you.
Is this a diagnosis of insomnia?
No. It is a self-check of bedtime arousal, not a diagnosis. If poor sleep is affecting your life, speak to a doctor.
