About this test
Need for touch is how much you rely on your sense of touch when you shop. It has two sides. Autotelic need for touch is touching for the fun and pleasure of it. Instrumental need for touch is touching to judge a product — its quality, weight or texture — before you buy. You get a separate score for each. There is no right or wrong; it simply describes how you like to shop.

What is a high score good for?
It is not good or bad. It just means touch matters to how you shop — useful to know for online shopping, where you can't touch anything.
